the journey of a single-mom who works nightshift

{September 13, 2008}   Here I am again

Sad to say that I have started a few blogs but never had the passion of updating them. And now, here I am starting a new blog under wordpress. Thanks to apples-pie (though I really don’t know her personally), who have brought back to me the passion of blogging. It started when i saw her blog entry about her Diamond Peel experience. Wonder why? My friend and I had talked about becoming beauty conscious a couple of weeks ago. And it’s so funny that even some of our teammates made comments of how serious do I want it to happen :)

Anyway, this is just the beginning of my passion, and hopefully I would be able to update this as often as I could :) Goodluck! :)

{September 19, 2008}   TGIF!

10:05 PM
TGIF! WuHooooOOoooo! Finally it’s Friday! I am looking forward to my last hour here in the office. I can’t help but be excited for the weekend. I have no big plans actually.. just to get enough rest. It’s been a long week, and there’d been so much stuff done, deadlines met, and the like. I’m so thankful that it’s already Friday! :)

{September 14, 2008}   multiply site

Yes, there’s now a multiply site that I can call my own :)
singlem0m.multiply.com

Yesterday, we (my mom, my sister, my daughter, and i) went to the mall mentioned on the title of this post to have our regular bonding time. It’s obvious that I need to use the CR because I need to change pads due to my period. So stupid of me to realize that after i’ve got all the tissues in my hand, I can find NO trash can inside the cubicle. I want to scream in disappointment because how can they not put the trash can inside the cubicle, when it’s a female restroom?! So i had to empty the tissues from where I got them in my bag just to put all the trash in it. Darn! And here’s the rub… when I went out of the cubicle, the trash can sits just outside of the door! WTF?! But i held my temper. I couldn’t complain no more. There are so many things in life that I complain about. This is just a speck among all those big ones :D That’s why I love going to EDSA Shangrila, or Gateway because they have paid restrooms where you can have all the comfort that you want.

This is one thing that you should know in case you are in Megamall, and eventually you have to use so many tissues for your ritual inside the cubicle. BE PREPARED with an extra trash bag so that there’s something where you can put all your tissues while you’re inside the cubicle.
